Photographed at the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and Railroad Avenue in Washington, D.C., this clear old picture shows in unbelievable detail Standard and Amoco gas pumps, and vintage cars on cobblestone streets. If you listen carefully you can hear the clop, clop of horse-drawn carriages.
The service station photo is from the U.S. Library of Congress from a 5x7in glass negative. We have restored it to its original condition. Scratches and scribble have been removed.
This black and white photo is printed on heavy-weight paper, and is easy-to-frame yourself – no mat is needed and each fits into a standard ready-made frame.
