This whimsically painted conversation piece of the iconic 1950s Nash Metropolitan could be on its last trip as the antique car and its driver (the quintessential "bleached-blond chain-smoking hag") are both coughing-up a trail of smoke.
Known as the world's cutest car, the Metropolitan was way ahead of its time, giving its owners 30-40 miles per gallon almost 60 years ago. Also called a Hudson Metropolitan and an Austin Metropolitan in non-U.S. and Canadian markets, less than 100,000 were built between 1954 and 1962.
About the print... compare sizes
This giclee print is easy-to-frame. It fits into a standard-size ready-made frame you can purchase right off the shelf at your favorite store in the USA and all countries that sell frames in inches. The frame size is the same as the print size.
About the canvas...
The canvas giclee is printed on genuine canvas with a state-of-the-art protective top-coating, and is rolled-up inside an industrial strength shipping tube. Your local picture-framer can then staple the canvas to stretcher bars and frame it, if you so desire.
