More -- In 1981, Barry Sheene had returned after a year's healing from injuries suffered in 1979. Sheene had switched from Suzuki to Yamaha in hopes of regaining his Championship and defeating the man who stole his crown -- defending World Champion Kenny Roberts.

Randy Mamola beat both Roberts and Sheene that year, finishing a close second in the Championship behind Italian Marco Lucchinelli -- both riding Suzukis.

Barry Sheene won the last race of his career that year at the Swedish Grand Prix.

Kenny Roberts never won another Championship, but finished second in 1983. His last year as a GP rider.
The younger Randy Mamola is considered one of the most talented riders never to have won the World Championship. He was runner-up four times during his career from 1979 to 1992 battling, and many times beating, the likes of Eddie Lawson, Freddie Spencer, Mick Doohan, Wayne Rainy, Kevin Schwantz and Wayne Gardner.

Customer comments "Yes, I did receive the Sheene, Roberts, & Mamola print in perfect condition and I must say that it looks better than I thought it would. I framed it shortly after I received it, in a frame I bought at World Market. It fit perfectly in the frame with no modifications. And the frame was only $30. I have also gotten a lot of great feedback from my friends who think it looks awesome. Needless to say I am very happy with it. Thanks for the fine work." Michael Barenbrugge, Park City, UT
"Yup, I got Sheene, Roberts & Mamola and Double Triumph and they are fine. They are framed and already up on the wall. One thing I was upset about was the overnight delivery. It took more like 3-4 days. I shouldn't have spent the extra money on overnight. Besides that, all is well... THX!" Evan Numeroff, Poughkeepsie, NY [Please note your print was purchased right before Labor Day. We wish it weren't so, but weekends and Holidays don't count with US Postal Service regular Overnight delivery.]
"I did receive the print Sheene, Roberts & Mamola, and I found a frame. It is perfect! It's great that I found your web site. Can't wait to get more... Thanks." David Brickey, North Weymouth, MA.
