"Denny & Bruce"
From the Owen Art Studios' exclusive classic-vintage photo collection, this historic black and white picture of Can-Am auto racing from the 1960's has been beautifully restored and enhanced.
Denny Hulme lights up the rear tires exiting a corner as team owner Bruce McLaren jumps the apron and races his teammate to the next turn -- both driving the famous 770 hp Chevy-powered McLaren M8B cars. By 1969 Team McLaren and Can Am had become known as "The Bruce and Denny Show." The series had expanded to 11 car races, and Team McLaren won every race. (more below)
